Julius Sigler

Dr. Sigler has been associated with the college for 52 years and currently serves as the Dean of the College. He earned his BS in physics from LC in 1962 and received his PhD in physics from the University of Virginia in 1967.

John Eric Goff

Dr. Goff came to LC in the fall of 2002 and is currently the chair of the physics department. He received his BS in physics and mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1992 and took his PhD in physics from Indiana University in 1999.

Michael Solontoi

Dr. Solontoi joined the physics faculty in fall 2012. He received a BA in Physics from Reed College in 2000, and his MSc (2004) and PhD (2010) in Astronomy from the University of Washington in 2010.

Matthew P. Jones

Dr. Jones joined the physics faculty in fall 2012. He received his BS (2000) and MS (2004) in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and his PhD in Physics (2011) from Auburn University.
