The prospect of a bird flu pandemic is very real in our lifetime. Such an outbreak would likely result in significant changes to life as we know it. To prepare our campus for this possibility, I formed a pandemic planning team nearly a year ago. This group of students, faculty, and staff has worked diligently to address the multiple scenarios that may result from a pandemic. As this planning process is constantly evolving, we will continue to work diligently on behalf of all our students, faculty, and staff to prepare our campus in the event a pandemic would occur.
