Your Pathway to the Nursing Profession

This rigorous and demanding program has a reputation for producing highly successful graduates. Our small class sizes allow us to give you the individual guidance you need to excel within and beyond the classroom.

Approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, our program provides a range of practical and academic opportunities to prepare you for any employment pathway within the nursing profession.

The Lynchburg College Department of Nursing will undergo an accreditation review visit from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on November 15 to 17, 2010 for the Master’s in Nursing Program. The department would like to provide an opportunity for constituents (students, faculty, practice partners, and alumni) to make any written comments directly to CCNE. You may provide your comments to:

  • CCNE
    Ms. Amanda Brownbridge
    Accreditation Assistant
One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530
    Washington, DC 20036-1120

Written comments should be signed and sent directly to CCNE no later than October 14, 2010.

"The faculty became my family away from home while I was at school. The program is rigorous, but the professors make it worth it. They really do an excellent job at making sure you have everything you need to become a good nurse." - Kristy Gardner '09
