University of Lynchburg is currently participating in Student Watch, a national research initiative that gauges college student attitudes and behaviors concerning course materials, online learning and technology.
Student Watch is funded by the NACS Foundation, a subsidiary of the National Association of College Stores (NACS).
Students are encouraged to participate in the survey by going to www.studentwatch.org from November 2 to November 18. As an incentive to participate, three respondents from our campus will win a $50 gift card to the campus store. Every student that completes the survey at participating schools will be entered to win the grand prize of $1,000. University of Lynchburg students who participate will also be eligible to win University of Lynchburg apparel and gifts.
“We are excited to take part in this national research initiative,” said Jill Farley, manager. “On a local level, the results of the survey will help our store better meet student needs and evaluate our performance.”
The study is being conducted on more than 60 campuses across the U.S. and Canada, with a focus on helping college stores better understand the evolution of course materials, how they can best support their students and how technology and online learning will play a role in the future of higher education.
The survey is being conducted online through the University of Lynchburg Campus Store. Students will receive a link to the survey via email or will be invited to complete the survey online in the store. For more information, please contact the Campus Store at campus.store@lynchburg.edu.
