University of Lynchburg is now offering significant tuition assistance to special education teachers in Virginia public schools who work with children with disabilities.
Through a grant from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), provisionally licensed special education teachers in VDOE Superintendent Regions 5, 6, and 8, can receive scholarships for graduate courses leading to an endorsement in Special Education: General Curriculum K-12. The courses can be applied to the MEd in Special Education or can be taken on a non-degree basis.
The grant will be available through June 20, 2015, and students can apply now for the 2015 spring and summer terms.
