University of Lynchburg will host a Teacher Licensure Information Session for individuals interested in pursuing a teaching career. The session will be held Saturday, February 5, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in LC’s Thompson Education Building – Room 101.
The session will provide detailed information about regional projected needs for teachers, four key teacher licensure areas basic requirements, and opportunities to achieve licensure goals through graduate study at University of Lynchburg including a focus on elementary, secondary, and special education and reading. All licensure programs are approved by the Virginia Department of Education.
This session is designed for those individuals with a four-year bachelor’s degree and college seniors.
A drawing for $25 gift cards will be held for attendees, and the $30 application fee will be waived for applications submitted during the information session.
