Senior midfielder Brittany Klippstein recently capped her outstanding career with First-Team All-American accolades announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

A partnership between Lynchburg College and Historic Sandusky, an important Civil War site near the campus, has been formed.
The development of the non-profit partnership originated with an inquiry from the Strategic Planning Committee of the Historic Sandusky Foundation Board (HS) about the possibility of a formal relationship with LC.
LC President Kenneth Garren and Sandusky Board President Bland Massie Jr. signed the documents to cement the relationship in a ceremony Dec. 12.

Such conversations and interactions are commonplace in Lynchburg College's gaming class, taught by Dr. Will Briggs, professor of computer science.

Junior midfielder Shelly Milks has added All-State Field Hockey Division Player of the Year to her resume.
Milks was earlier named a 2011 First-Team All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and also the All-South Region Player of the Year.

The LC Orchestra and Wind Symphony will present its Winter Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9 in Sydnor Performance Hall, Elliot & Rosel Schewel Hall.
Under the direction of Dr. Oeida M. Hatcher, dean of the School of Communication and the Arts, the concert will feature the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky, Overture to Orfeo by Monteverdi, Greensleeves, and other holiday favorites.
