Turcotte and Selden Receive Human Resource Certifications
In January 2009, Colin J. Turcotte (Senior, Management Major) earned certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) while Dr. Sally Selden (Professor, Management) earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
These certifications, awarded by the HR Certification Institute, signifiy that Turcotte and Selden possess the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field.

Dr. Sally Selden was elected as a Fellow in the National Academy of Public Administration. On Friday, November 21, 2008, Dr. Selden traveled to Washington, D.C., for the official induction ceremony. The Academy is a non-profit, independent coalition of top public management and organizational leaders that tackles the nation's most critical and complex challenges. Unique to the National Academy are the expertise and insight provided by its 600 Fellows.
