Museum Studies Minor

The Museum Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program that teaches you the theoretical concepts and practical skills that prepare you to understand and appreciate museums as cultural and educational places.
Ours is the only interdisciplinary undergraduate program in museum studies in Virginia.
Why Museum Studies?
"The field of museum studies is so exciting. Curators get to hold and learn about objects, the remnants of our past. Together, they help piece together the puzzle of times we didn't see. It's a puzzle that will never be completed and that's why I enjoy it so much. You'll never be bored."
