Message from the Dean of the School of Business and Economics:

We are delighted that you are interested in the Master of Business Administration program at Lynchburg College. The program is designed either for individuals who do not have an undergraduate degree in business and are interested in gaining valuable knowledge of the full-range of business operations, or for those who have a background in business but want to broaden their knowledge base. We offer students the flexibility to pursue the M.B.A. degree on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses are offered in the evening on a regular cycle and are available during the summer. With a 36-credit hour requirement, you can complete the degree in 14 months as a full-time student.

As an M.B.A. student at Lynchburg College, you will enjoy stimulating classroom discussion in small classes and the opportunity to get to know faculty members who are committed to quality teaching and research. Our team-oriented approach challenges you to work collaboratively with other students in applying the knowledge gained in the program to current business issues and practices. Our faculty use their broad experience in academics and the business world in preparing you to assume leadership roles in the public, non-profit, and private sectors.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our alumni, many of whom are leaders of corporations and public institutions. We strive to develop the global perspective, the technical knowledge, and the leadership skills that are essential for success in the dynamic and increasingly competitive environment within which businesses, non-profits, and governmental agencies operate.
