Message from the Dean of the School of Business and Economics:

We are delighted that you are interested in the Master of Business Administration at Lynchburg College. The program is designed either for individuals who do not have an undergraduate degree in business and are interested in gaining valuable knowledge of the full-range of business operations, or for those who have a background in business but want to broaden their knowledge base. We offer the flexibility to pursue the M.B.A.  degree on a full-time or part-time basis. Courses are offered in the evening on a regular cycle and are available during the summer. With a 33-credit hour requirement, you can complete the degree in twenty-one or thirty-three months as a full-time student.

As an M.B.A. student at Lynchburg College, you will be able to take advantage of small classes and faculty members who are committed to quality teaching and research. We emphasize a team-oriented approach in which you will be challenged to apply the knowledge gained in the program to current business issues. Our faculty use their broad experience in academics and the business world in preparing you to assume leadership roles in the public, non-profit, and private sectors.

We are very proud of the accomplishments of our alumni, many of whom are leaders of corporations and public institutions. We strive to develop the technical knowledge of leadership skills that are essential in managing in the dynamic and ever more challenging environment that businesses, non-profits, and governmental agencies experience.
