Requirements for Successful MSN Candidates
In addition to meeting the master's degree admission requirements (see the note about the GRE requirement below), successful MSN candidates will:
- Hold a current unrestricted registered nurse license in the United States
- Have successfully completed undergraduate courses in Statistics and Health Assessment with a grade of C or higher
- Have current CPR certification and health records
- Meet the essential functions of nursing
GRE Requirement
The GRE requirement is waived for applicants with two years of nursing experience.
RN to MSN Applicants
Applicants to the RN to MSN program should hold a current RN license and have two years of nursing experience. Applicants with a non-nursing bachelor's degree must complete four online bridge courses; applicants with a diploma or associate degree must complete a minimum of 57 credit hours of prerequisites, including nine hours of online bridge courses.
