Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate

The Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate Program prepares you to become a practitioner and contributor to the field of applied behavior analysis. The course work provides intensive training for designing, applying, and monitoring behavioral treatment and verbal behavior training programs in schools, private practices, and agencies.

The certificate program is a 6 course sequence that will be taught collaboratively within the Virginia Applied Behavior Analysis Consortium via distance learning and face-to-face meetings. Completion of the certificate course work and the required Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB) supervision hours will qualify you as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst once you pass the national BACB examination.

To enter the certificate program, you must have a MEd degree in special education or related field or you must be completing a Master’s degree.
