Master of Education in Counselor Education
The MEd in Counselor Education offers 2 areas of specialization - Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling - both fully accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), as well as an Advanced Counseling Certificate (post-master's).

Our program trains you to be an effective, ethical, professional practitioner. It promotes personal growth and academic excellence, emphasizing diversity of experience and ideas. You will be equipped to both serve and lead in the counseling profession.
A scholarship program is available to students who are regular presenters at conferences.
We use the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Exam (CPCE) as the comprehensive exam for the program. The CPCE is designed to assess counseling students' knowledge of counseling information and is used by more than 270 universities and colleges.
