Experience:
I have taught nursing students for 30 years and have been a faculty member at Lynchburg College for the last five of those years. I currently teach in Nursing 413 (Community Health Nursing) and Nursing 414 (Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing). I am a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and provide psychotherapy services to families and children through Bridges Residential Treatment Center during the summer months. I currently serve on the Admission Progression Committee of the Nursing Program and am program council representative to the School of Health Science and Human Performance.Other Information:
Personal Info/Interests
When time permits, I enjoy reading and gardening and yoga. I have two adult sons that live and work in the area. One of them is a Lynchburg College graduate.
