Director of the Annual Fund

Lynchburg College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of the Annual Fund in the Office of Advancement.

Candidates must have experience in planning and directing a comprehensive Annual Fund fundraising program including managing direct mail, phonathon, volunteers, gift solicitation and Raiser’s Edge database, gift acknowledgements, and the Annual Fund budget. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have strong skills in communications and writing, data analysis, advance planning, performing Raiser’s Edge queries, supervising staff, developing social media and online presence for fundraising. Will assist with special events; occasional evening and weekend hours required.  Must be able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred), plus 3-5 years’ experience in higher education or non-profit fundraising. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
