Assistant/Associate Professor of Exercise Physiology

The School of Health Sciences and Human Performance of Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a one-year appointment in Exercise Physiology beginning fall 2013. The successful candidate will teach courses, encourage and promote lab use by the Exercise Physiology students. The Exercise Physiology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Qualifications: PhD in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field is required; teaching experience, the ability to use technology to assist the teaching and learning process; strong organizational skills; ACSM-HFS or NSCA-CSCS Certification is preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and educational credentials. Selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
