Assistant/Associate Professor - Accounting
The School of Business and Economics at Lynchburg College invites applications for a tenure-track opening in accounting at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin with the 2013-14 academic year.
The successful candidate will have a background in financial accounting and will be expected to teach accounting principles, intermediate accounting, and advanced accounting. An interest in forensic accounting or fraud investigation is a real plus.
We are looking for someone who is willing to strive for teaching excellence, experiment with new pedagogies, and collaborate with colleagues from diverse disciplines in support of Lynchburg College's liberal arts mission, especially in the area of global awareness. Scholarship leading to peer-reviewed publication is expected. A PhD in accounting is required. The selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
