The English Program of Lynchburg College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in CREATIVE WRITING: FICTION AND NON-FICTION at the Assistant Professor level, to begin teaching a 4/4 course load (three preparations each semester) in August, 2003. The candidate should be able to teach introductory and upper level writing courses in fiction and non-fiction within the writing emphasis of the English major. Additional expertise as a literary generalist is preferred. The candidate may expect to participate in the general education program. LC expects a strong commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts curriculum. Applicants should have evidence of successful teaching and significant publication. M.F.A. required.
