Interlibrary Loan

ILLIAD LOGON

Interlibrary Loan is a service provided to the students, faculty,and staff of Lynchburg College. If the Knight-Capron Library does not have an item you want, use Interlibrary Loan to request that the item be borrowed from another library.

To request an item, log on to ILLIAD, the Library's Interlibrary Loan system.

In addition to requesting materials, ILLIAD also allows you to:

• check on the status of your requests
• make corrections to recently submitted requests
• submit renewal requests
• cancel requests
• review your completed requests
• download copies of items delivered online
• check due dates

Before requesting an Interlibrary Loan, please check the following:

• Check the Library Catalog to determine if a book or audio-visual item is owned by the Knight-Capron Library.
• Use Journal Finder to determine if the library has a journal, either online or in print.

The Copyright Law of the United states (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted materials. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
