This nationally accredited program prepares you to teach PK-12 health and physical education and offers:
- Small classes that focus on you
- The chance to practice what you learn in peer teaching and real-life settings
- Service learning experiences working with disadvantaged children
- Opportunities that meet the endorsement requirements from the Virginia Department of Education
Experience That Counts: We offer a field-based approach that takes you into the local community and culminates in a semester of student teaching under the guidance of a master teacher.
Get Certified: If successful, you can become dually certified as a K-12 Health and Physical Education teacher.
