Interests

My research on issues of domestic violence and race socialization continues to be a work in progress. I am also interested in problems of gender inequality and feminist theories. Researching why domestic violence continues to be one of the more serious and persistent social problems in the United States is a main academic focus for me. In order to relax from such serious problems, I pursue a variety of hobbies such as walking trails, reading novels, watching movies (i.e., thrillers and intrigue), line dancing, and participating in "lively" discussions.
