Friendship Circle

All sidewalks on the Dell lead to Friendship Circle, located on the main axis between Hopwood Hall and Snidow Chapel. Friendship Circle is so-named to commemorate the founding of the first Virginia chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews on the Lynchburg College campus in 1935 (now known as VCIC, the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities). It is the site of the annual student leadership induction ceremony.
