Studying French: Daniel Telele '11, MBA '12
During my undergraduate study, I completed a study abroad to France and was able to travel throughout le-de-France, Loire Valley, and Normady. It was a great experience that allowed me to confirm my interests in French language and culture.
After completing my MBA, I decided to participate in a longer 3-month cultural exchange to gain a deeper understanding of the society and to improve my French. It was a once in a lifetime experience to live with a family and work as a private tutor.
In my free time, I was able to learn much more than I anticipated, and the immersion experience really helped to boost my proficiency. I really fell in love with France and began exploring my options to return there before I even left. I decided to apply to several graduate programs and was accepted to lInstitut d'tudes Politiques de Paris, SciencesPo, one of the top Grade coles for Political Science and Economics.
In Fall 2014, I will begin the 2-year Master in Finance with the intention of beginning my career and life in France. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that come with this next step and hope that other students at LC with strong international interests will make similar decisions to really explore their opportunities!
