Sigma Nu

Founded: 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute. The system of physical abuse and hazing of underclassmen at VMI led three cadets to form the "Legion of Honor," which soon became Sigma Nu Fraternity. The fraternity is focused on helping create strong men who are focused on service and brotherhood. 

Colors: Black, white, gold

National philanthropy: Helping Hand Initiative

At LC: Mu Chi Chapter

Philanthropy: The Wounded Warriors Program. The chapter hosts an annual golf tournament to help raise funds for this fund, as well as volunteers at other events in an effort to support veterans.
