Phi Kappa Tau

Founded: 1906 at Miami University of Ohio. The mission of Phi Kappa Tau is “to champion a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership, and exemplary character.”  The fraternity prides itself in being one of the first to adopt an anti-hazing policy.

Colors: Harvard red and old gold

National philanthropy: SeriousFun Children’s Network

Philanthropy: The local colony supports the USO. The fraternity helps raise money for the SeriousFun Children’s Network which was founded by Paul Newman, the creator and owner of “Newman’s Own Foods.”  Along with fundraisers, the fraternity brothers also volunteer hours with the programs as well.
