Member Expectations

Each fraternity and sorority has its own set of member expectations that deal with subjects like brother/sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, community service, and social interaction.

Zero-Tolerance Hazing Policy

You should always feel safe at LC. All of our fraternities and sororities, in accordance with Virginia State Law, reject hazing. (Hazing is an unpleasant or harmful activity used to initiate a new member into the group.)

Chapters hold membership education sessions to teach new members about their responsibilities. New members are also asked to sign an Anti-Hazing pledge.

Academics

LC is committed to your academic success. If you join a fraternity or sorority, you'll need to maintain a minimum GPA. Chapters offer study groups, mentors, and other ways you can get help with your classes and assignments.
