Founded: 1901 at Longwood University. Alpha Sigma Alpha’s purpose is to “foster close friendships between members and to develop women of poise and purpose.”

At LC: Zeta Upsilon Chapter

Philanthropy: The local chapter raises funds for Special Olympics, S. June Smith Center, and Girls on the Run, while also contributing to the Lynchburg College. The Zeta Upsilon chapter has volunteered and raised funds for the local Relay for Life as well and St. Baldrick’s to help find a cure for cancer.
