Information on Courses Taught
Currently, I teach Safety and Management of Health Emergencies and Introduction to Athletic Training. I also teach AT 340, an Athletic Training clinical education class that focuses on injury evaluation and rehabilitation.
My responsibilities as an athletic trainer are supervision of the athletic training students, care, prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, and some administrative duties. I love outdoor activities like hiking, biking, canoeing, walking, jet-skiing, and watching sunsets. Although I have a very active lifestyle, I can get completely involved in a good book or movie. I volunteer as an EMT at the Lynchburg Lifesaving Crew. I recently graduated from a massage therapy program in Roanoke. My family (Ed, Dallas, Mickayla, Daisy, Peanut, Ruby and Meow) keeps me busy with fun activities during my free time.
