Professor Bill Noel, Executive Director
Bill Noel has worked in video and media production for more than 20 years as a freelance cameraman, producer/director, professor, and consultant. He has a master of fine arts degree from Southern Methodist University where he honed skills in documentary filmmaking and multi-camera directing. He is a veteran of more than 600 on-location productions including concerts, speeches, and sports.
Bill keeps up with business and technical trends in media production, and is accomplished with many forms of video production, digital editing and compositing, and project planning. He has taught at Lynchburg College since 2000, and prior to assuming the directorship of the Donovan Media Development Center in summer 2010, he was creative director for the Center.
Professor Ursula Bryant, Graphic Design Specialist
Ursula Bryant has worked in the marketing, print, and graphic design industry for more than 10 years. Ursula is an assistant professor of graphic design and has a personal freelance graphic design business. She has worked for clients such as C.L. Lewis & Company, English Construction, Virginia Career Education Foundation, Region 2000, and the City of Lynchburg, and international businesses such as EIM Controls, M/A-COM, Bernhardt, Martha Stewart, and Vaughan Furniture.
Prior to teaching, she received her bachelor of fine arts in graphic design from James Madison University in 2001 and worked as a graphic design professional for Blair Marketing. In 2007 she earned her master of fine arts in graphic design from East Tennessee State University where her research interests included the study of human reaction, tolerance, perception, and social stigmas through visual communication. Her Addy-award-winning and published designs, paintings, and multimedia work have been recognized by the Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., and exhibited in many solo and juried shows.
