The School of Communication and the Arts at Lynchburg College invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor tenure-track position to begin August 2012.
We seek a dynamic performance and directing colleague who can teach all levels of the undergraduate curriculum and collaborate with other areas of the School. MFA in Directing from an accredited university theatre program is required and three years of prior teaching experience is preferred. Professional directing experience and affiliations with relevant professional organizations is highly desirable. Candidate will have a dedication to undergraduate education, and the ability to work with theatre majors and non-majors, as well as guest artists from the community. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
