The School of Humanities and Social Science at Lynchburg College is accepting applications for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages to begin August 2012. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to and excellence in undergraduate teaching as well as scholarly achievement. Ph.D. is required, and prior teaching experience is preferred. The selected candidate must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
