Classroom Accommodations, Tutoring, and Academic Support
Lynchburg College does not offer programs and courses specifically designed for students with disabilities, but approximately 12% of our students qualify for disability services.
Classroom accommodations we offer to eligible students may include but are not limited to: student notes, faculty notes, test proctoring (PDF), reading tests, extended testing time, alternative format texts, class location and accommodated furniture. Accommodations are considered on a case by case basis.
We offer all Lynchburg College students a wide range of academic support services such as tutoring services, academic counseling, career services and therapeutic counseling services. More information is available online. These services, accompanied by small classroom size and an intimate connection to our faculty and staff, are areas where Lynchburg College offers an exceptional experience for all students.
