Field of American Dreams: A Journey Through the History & Culture of Baseball

Open Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Featuring baseball memorabilia from the 19th Century through the present, loaned by Lynchburg College faculty, staff, and alumni. Curated by Museum Studies Students Kendall Adkin, Tyler Barrett, Kelly Childress, Vicki Lunsford, Sarah Overman, Evan Parry, Matt Payne, Patrick Rhodes, Jennifer Shanks, and Josh Thaller, and coordinated by student assistant John Griemsman.

The Daura Gallery is named in memory of Catalan-American artist Pierre Daura and his wife, Louise.

The Gallery houses LC's art collection and includes paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture by Pierre Daura and many other American and European artists.

Visiting the Gallery

Admission is free. The gallery is located in the Dillard Fine Arts Center. Accessible to persons with disabilities.

Hours (during academic year):
Monday - Friday: 9 a.m - 4 p.m.
Select Sundays: 1-4 p.m. (one Sunday a month)

Closed holidays and College breaks.
