Friends of the Daura Gallery
Friends of the Daura Gallery are valued partners with us as we provide exposure to the arts to students and the community.
The support of our Friends allows us to add to the permanent collection, host traveling exhibits, provide exhibit space for students, and offer classes -- like those for the Museum Studies minor.

More Information about the Friends of the Daura Gallery
The Daura Gallery seeks to serve Lynchburg College and the community beyond by providing opportunities for learning, enjoyment, and personal growth, and, as such, to deepen our understanding of human experience and cultural diversity. To do this, we need your support by becoming a charter affiliate of the Friends of the Daura Gallery. We are always touched by the way visitors to the Gallery respond to our exhibitions and programs. But in order to continue our level of excellence in exhibitions, expand our collections, and improve our educational programs, we need the constant and generous support of Friends like you. Your support will make a tremendous difference every day at the Daura Gallery.
Exhibition expenses, including loan fees, insurance and transportation, are greater than ever, and special event and program costs are constantly mounting. By joining the Friends of the Daura Gallery, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping us achieve our goal of providing great exhibitions and programs for all our constituents - students, alumni, the residents of Central Virginia - and keeping the vitality of the arts in Lynchburg and beyond. Contributions of all sizes will help us better serve our constituents and we have categories for every level of support.
Other Ways to Contribute

To discuss facility rental or the donation of works of art or artifacts, please contact Barbara Rothermel, Director of the Daura Gallery, at 434.544.8343 or by email at rothermel@lynchburg.edu.
