For the third year in a row, the women’s lacrosse team received the league’s sportsmanship award in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The award was accepted by head coach Bruce Reid, and is voted on by ODAC officials and given to the team showing the greatest level of sportsmanship.
“We are honored to receive this award,” said Reid. “It is through the commitment of all of our players and coaching staff that we strive to play the game we love the right way.”
Lynchburg finished the 2013 campaign with a 9-8 overall record, including a 6-4 mark in conference play.
