Experience and Background
Dr. Terri Cornwell has more than 30 years’ experience in higher education. She has taught at Hollins University, Randolph College, Virginia Tech, and Liberty University, where she also served as Associate Dean for Graduate and Online Assessment, coordinating the University’s strategic planning process.
She has held the positions of Legislative Director for the Congressional Arts Caucus in the U.S. Congress and Director of Communications and Development for the College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.
Dr. Cornwell's current research interests include international adoption, public relations, and advertising and religious communication.
The author of the book, Democracy and the Arts: The Role of Participation, Dr. Cornwell has also written numerous published articles on arts policy, quality of life studies, and advertising.
