Lynchburg College is offering a five-week Summer Reading Clinic for students struggling with reading. The clinic will run June 16 - July 20 to provide individualized remediation programs for children in grades K-12. Students must be recommended by their classroom teacher to be considered for the program.

The clinic will begin with a diagnosis of each student's strengths and weaknesses. Tutors will use literature, games, and hands-on activities to addresses specific needs and engage students in learning. All tutors will be supervised by Lynchburg College reading program professors who will be actively involved in the clinic.

Space is limited, and applications are now being accepted. Cost for the clinic is $250, which will be due when a student is accepted into the program.
