Event Details: 
During spring 2012, museum studies minor Gibb Zea '13 undertook an independent study to replicate 18th-century-style garments, such as the red coat worn by Samuel Adams in his 1772 portrait by John Singleton Copley. The project included research of styles, materials and construction, pattern-making, and hand-sewing using authentic materials and tools of a period tailor. Opening reception: Thursday, August 30, 4 p.m.
