Charles Stein escaped Europe in 1939, although his parents perished in the Holocaust. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army and returned to Europe as a soldier. Mr. Stein now volunteers for the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Holocaust Education Foundation of Central Virginia.
