Nurses, social workers, geriatric case managers, nursing home adminstrators, dietary personnel, pastors, and other long-term caregivers will benefit from this day-long class.

Denise Scruggs, CDP & Approved Instructor, NCCDP
Denise, director of the Beard Center on Aging, has over 15 years experience working personally and professionally with persons diagnosed with dementia.
June Harvie-McNamara, CDP & Approved Instructor, NCCDP
June is a social worker at Gentle Shepherd Hospice, and has over 20 years experience in long-term care and hospice services. She facilitates Alzheimer's and grief support groups and provides pet therapy with her miniature horse Blue.
