Research Interests:
I am currently completing my dissertation entitled Deindustrialization and the Urban Landscape: Race, Space, and Memory in Back of the Yards, 1950-80. I am most interested in the intersections of Labor and Environmental History, in particular the relationship between class and the built environment and the ways in which urban spaces are racialized.
