Internship for Communication Studies Major
Primary Responsibilities:
- Video log of lacrosse program
- Advertisement of lacrosse games
- Positive promotion of the program, institution, and home games
- Collaborate with Sports Information Department on lacrosse-related topics
- Work with game day DJ on promotions, advertisements, and announcements during games
- Assist in facets of game day set-up
- Create and edit an end-of-the-year-highlight film
- Complete any other reasonable duties assigned by the coaching staff
Summary of Essential Functions/Skill
- The creation and placement of posters and flyers advertising home games around campus
- Keep SID department staff abreast of new lacrosse stories and statistics
- Edit video log to create an "inside look" video of the lacrosse program to be published on the athletics website
- Create advertising plans with the core intention of positively promoting the institution, the program, and each lacrosse function
- Assist in the set-up of film materials and advertisements on game day
- Organize and set up any half-time promotions on game day
- Complete all required responsibilities keeping the best interest of the institution and program in mind
- Be on time for all commitments
- Be attentive to and complete all of the coaching staff's reasonable requests
