Beard Center on Aging at Lynchburg College
Dedicated to engaging faculty, staff, students and the community in initiatives that promote successful aging and increase understanding of aging throughout the life course. The Center accomplishes this through education, social research and outreach efforts.p>
Walter G. Mason Center for Business Development and Economic Education
Promotes regional economic growth, education, and organizational development using the diverse resources of Lynchburg College. Through customized workshops, learning forums, and business seminars, the Center offers opportunities to enhance organizational development and economic vitality.
Center for Economic Education
A collaborative program with the Virginia Council for Economic Education to provide learning opportunities for regional educators for the inclusion of economic principles in the curriculum.
Donovan Media Development Center
Focused on the development of electronic and print media. Students, faculty and staff will help non-profit organizations and campus-based organizations engaged in community outreach create print and electronic media to document, explain and promote their activities. The center also produces television spots and programs to help organizations publicize their activities.
