As the economy becomes a challenge for graduating students in the job market, it is important that students become particularly proactive in their planning for the future. Using this time to think outside of the usual job "box" and look for opportunities they might not have considered before, as well as additional job experiences through internships, can make a difference in whether this is truly an "opportunity" or a "challenge" in a student's life. More than ever
Career Development and the
Internship Program offer
resources and services in the Academic and Career Services Center
located on the second floor of Hall Campus Center which will assist students as they implement their plans. These resources and services are available to all Lynchburg College students and can help students reach their goals of completing their undergraduate or graduate program, obtaining an internship, finding a career or job, or going to graduate school. Many other opportunities are also available through the Center. See our
newsletter (pdf) for some of these opportunities throughout the year.
