Employment Prospects for Our Graduates

  • Within a year of graduation 80% of the class of 2010 were employed.
  • 29% secured full time employment within one month of graduation.
  • 54% are employed full time within six months of graduation.
  • 60% are employed full time within the first year after graduation with an additional 21% employed part time.
(Nationally 63.6% of the class of 2010 were employed within a year of graduation)

Typical Annual Salaries for the First Job

The typical Lynchburg College graduate (35%) reports an annual salary within the range of $30,000 to $39,999  for their first full time job after college.

However, 15% of the recent graduates indicate a salary of $40,000 or higher, while 29% indicate their first job salary was in the $20,000 to $29,999 range. Some graduates elected part-time work and others preferred not to provide us with salary data.
