Lynchburg College students are now blogging about their study abroad experiences -- before, during, and after their time overseas. This semester a total of five students are studying in the United Kingdom and at LC's sister-school in Austria, with Annie Stokes '11 and Tyler Cookson '09 reporting on their experiences.

Annie will expand her knowledge of European history and experience student life at Oxford University, where she will live and study at St. Catherine's College -- the alma mater of former Pakistani President Benazir Bhutto. While abroad, Annie will enjoy the sights and sounds of British culture from the dynamic city of London to the quiet charm of villages in the countryside.

Tyler, who is planning to graduate in January,is spending his final semester at LC's sister school, Fachhochschule Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV), in scenic Dornbirn, Austria, where he will study international business alongside both Austrian and international students from around the world. FHV's proximity to Germany, Italy, and Switzerland should allow Tyler to travel easily, and he will be able to master the Alpine slopes once ski season begins.
