Biology
Biology is a process of inquiry using observation, modeling, and experimentation to investigate living organisms, their evolution, and their interactions with the environment. Your learning experiences will reveal the intricacies of the natural world and provide useful research skills.
We offer both a major (B.S.) and a minor in biology.
What Will I Study?
Diversity; anatomy and physiology of animals, plants, and other organisms; genetics; ecology; and evolution are just some of the topics in this multi-faceted major.
Biologists rely on critical thinking and sound scientific reasoning. You'll learn to apply these skills to collaborative research projects with your professors or in biology-related internships.
