Public Open House Schedule
Visit the observatory! You'll be able to look through our powerful telescopes and learn more about the universe.
Tickets are free, but they are required. We intentionally keep our numbers low to afford our guests the best possible viewing experience.

The 20-inch Margaret Gilbert Telescope is currently not operating due to technical problems with its mount. Our open houses will continue to operate as scheduled with our many other telescopes and instruments, including the StarGazer 13.1-inch telescope, and our docents are eager to show you the sights and wonders of the Universe under rural Bedford County's dark skies!
