The Mission of the Center on Aging reflects Lynchburg College's commitment to understanding and addressing issues of aging and the needs of older citizens. Special emphasis is placed on community education and outreach involving students and faculty with older individuals of Central Virginia. The Center offers unique opportunities that directly involve students in research initiatives, meaningful outreach, educational programs, and professional conferences. Center offices are located on the Lynchburg College campus and at the Summit.
