Forest City Owls junior right-handed pitcher Bryan Breedlove(Lynchburg College) was named Coastal Plain League Rawlings Co-Pitcher of the Week on Monday for week four of play (June 22nd-28th)after a stellar peformance on the mound against the Martinsville Mustangs.

The 2009 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) released its College Division All-State baseball teams Thursday, as the Hornets of Lynchburg College were honored with four players on the squad, including both first-team pitchers.

Senior pitcher Joe Devlin (Ashburn, VA/Broad Run) was named the 2009 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Co-Pitcher of the Year Wednesday, as announced by the league office and voted on by the ODAC head coaches.
